Hello everyone! As you may have noticed I've taken a short time away from blogging whilst I made the most of the festive period. But it's a new year and I'm back with a haul. These are all the beauty bits I have bought between Christmas and new year. It's a little late coming, but let's get straight into it anyway!
First up is The Body Shop. As some of you my be aware I suffer from very spot prone skin, so I decided to pick up this Tea Tree toner to see if that helps clear up my skin. So far I'm really liking this product and think it is definitely helping.
I also picked up this banana hair mask which is amazing! I've used it twice so far and will definitely be repurchasing it. It makes my hair so soft and I don't need to condition, which is rare! Highly recommended.
I wanted to try out their liquid lipsticks so I got a couple in the shades Crete and California. I really like these shades - one is a nude and one is a pale pink. They are a moussey texture and very similar to the NYX soft matte lip creams, which I love.
In the sale I got 3 of their shower gels. I got the scents frosted berries, frosted plum and almond. These all smell incredible and were all half price, so I couldn't resist!
I picked up a few makeup bits that I needed to top up my collection. I got the Max Factor lasting performance foundation which has quickly become my favourite, and I will be buying another one soon. I got a Sleek matte me lipstick in the shade rusted rose, which is part of their metallic collection. This is a lovely colour and isn't too over the top for everyday.
I got two mascaras. The first is the Maybelline lift volume express which I haven't tried yet. Then I thought I'd treat myself to the TooFaced better than sex mascara which I have to say is amazing! I'm so glad I got it, and I would highly recommend it.
In the FeelUnique sale I got the mini Urban Decay vice lipsticks that were featured in my Christmas gift guide. They were half price so I thought I would pick them up. You get 4 shades in the set - Purgatory, backtalk, crimson and amulet. I actually already have the full sized crimson and backtalk, and I really like the shades so it's handy to have a mini to pop in my handbag when I'm wearing that shade.
The last item I got - again half price - was the Urban Decay Jean-Michel Basquiat palette. I had never seen this before or heard anything about it, so when I saw it I just had to get it. It has a really funky skeleton packaging with 8 shades inside. These are really nice neutral shades and I have already created a couple of looks from this palette.
I hope you enjoyed this haul! Join me again soon for my next post, all about the January Birchbox and the reason I've unsubscribed.
Until next time.
