Beauty haul and first impressions - part 2

Hi everyone and welcome back. Today I'm back with part 2 of my beauty haul! These are all the beauty things I've bought over the last few weeks from Bodycare, Boots, Superdrug and Wilkinsons.

Firstly I'll start with repurchases of products that I've loved. I got the Batiste dry shampoo in the blush scent. I'm a big fan of Batiste dry shampoo and find it works best for my hair and doesn't leave it feeling like it has a lot of product in it. I also repurchased my trusty Rimmel wake me up foundation in the shade 100 ivory. This is the perfect foundation for when I need a bit of extra coverage.

Another repurchased product is the St. Moriz tanning mousse. I use this about 3 times a week and I ran out so I had to buy a new one, and is by far the best tan I've used, as well as being super cheap. I also got the Aussie 3 minute miracle reconstructor treatment, as my hair is feeling very dry and damaged at the moment, and when I tried it before it worked wonders.

Now onto products that I haven't tried before. I was really desperate for the collection concealer that I always use, however I looked in about 4 shops and none had it in the shade I needed! So I thought I'd try the seventeen 18hour stay concealer. It's a very similar formula and coverage to the collection one, however I would say I prefer the collection concealer. I picked up 2 mascaras, the Rimmel wonder'full with argan oil and the Bourjois super curl mascara. I have tried the Rimmel mascara before and fell in love with it, it gives my lashes much more volume and length, however I didn't feel the Bourjois mascara had the same effect. I noticed more definition in the lashes and separates them out, but I didn't think this gave me any extra volume or length.

So the next item I picked up is the Quick Fix anti-blemish mud mask from Boots. I have the charcoal mask from this range an I really like it so I thought I'd try this one out, and having used it about 3 times I can say I've enjoyed using it. So far I haven't noticed a massive difference in my blemishes but I'll have to use it more regularly and see if it works better. I also got the Boots limited edition Barry M nail paint in the colour 'Beachy Keen'. Firstly can we just take a moment to appreciate the rose gold lid! I fell in love with it instantly. Secondly the colour is such a nice peachy nude on the nails, not too over the top for an everyday nail polish. It does tend to chip quickly but that goes for all the Barry M polishes.
I normally use the Eyelure eyebrow tint in the colour dark brown but I find this isn't quite dark enough for my hair colour, but I don't think I'd quite pull off a black eyebrow! I thought I'd try the Colorsport 30 day mascara for eyelashes and eyebrows. I only use this on my eyebrows as I don't want brown eyelashes, and I think it does come up slightly darker than the Eyelure tint, however it still doesn't seem to be quite dark enough for me. I will persevere with it but I will keep hunting for one that works best for me.

Lastly I got the Bourjois 'smoky stories' eyeshadow palette in the colour 02 over rose. I love this palette and have been using it pretty much every day since I got it, however it doesn't beat my naked 3 palette which are similar colours. If the naked 3 palette isn't in your budget I would definitely recommend this as an alternative for colour, and has very similar staying power.

I hope you've enjoyed part 2 of my haul, let me know if you've tried any of these products and what you think of them, and anything else you recommend trying!

Until next time.
