Hello everybody! I'm sure a lot of you will agree, we all love a good pamper, so I thought I'd share with you what I normally do when I want to pamper myself. I do a little routine about once a week, normally on a Sunday to prepare for the week ahead, and here is it:
Hot chocolate -
I love a good hot chocolate, so before I start my pamper session I make myself one. At the moment I'm loving using the alpro coconut almond milk which tastes so good, along with the Bourneville cocoa powder. This combo tastes amazing so go and try it if you haven't. My favourite mug to have a hot chocolate is this Cath Kidston mug from a couple Christmas' ago.
Before my facemask I normally have a little 'maintenance' session where I use a nose pore and forehead/chin strips, I pluck my eyebrows and tint them once a month using the Colorsport 30 day mascara for eyebrows in dark brown.
Next I normally stick on a face mask, which I alternate between my favourites. One favourite at the moment is the Quick Fix Facials anti-blemish mask from Boots. I've found this one really helps clear up my skin on days when I feel like I have a lot of breakouts.
I then hop in the bath and I always use a bath bomb. This time I used the pumpkin one from lush and it made the water smell so good! I recommend that one as the smell is nice but not too overpowering and it didn't make my skin feel oily or greasy like some of the others do.
I love to do a hair mask to give my hair a good pamper, and at the moment I've been trying out Lee Stafford pre shampoo treatment, and on first impression I really love it. My hair felt so soft and healthy afterwards and I cant wait to use it again. I'll go into more detail about it in my Lee Stafford product review (coming soon).
I always take this opportunity to re-do my nails. Here are a few of my favourite polishes at the moment:
- 'Copper Bae' molten metal nail paint
- ''Bronze Bae' molten metal nail paint
- 'Beachy Keen' nail paint
- 'Denim' nail paint
And a new discovery which is the Avon gel shine nail enamel in a really gorgeous wine colour. I've actually chucked out the box already so I'm not sure on the exact colour but I'm pretty sure it's called wine or something similar. As with the Lee Stafford product I'll be doing a nail varnishes favourites post where I'll go into more detail so keep an eye out for that soon.
And that's my pamper routine! It's quite short and simple but it really helps me to relax and prepare for the week ahead. Let me know what you like doing to pamper yourselves and any products you think I should try.
Until next time.
