Beauty Haul - part 2

Hey guys, welcome back. As promised here is part 2 of all the beauty related bits I've bought recently, lets get straight into it.

First off I got the Wilkinson's body scrub in the rhubarb and vanilla scent. I've had this before in the berry scent and I really liked it - it wasn't too hard a scrub but it was just rough enough to feel like it's actually working, and it was only 95p so I thought I would pick one up.

I was after a new foundation because as much as I love the Rimmel Wake Me Up, the lightest shade just isn't light enough when I have no fake tan on. I've wanted to try the L'oreal true match foundation for a while so I picked it up in the shade rose vanilla. Having used this a couple of times I am in 2 minds about it. It's the perfect shade for my pale skin, however it's not the best coverage (compared to wake me up) and I find it takes a while to blend. But as I normally have fake tan on, I'll only be reaching for this occasionally so it's not like I'll be wearing it every day.

I'm just about to run out of heat defence spray for my hair, and for someone who always either straightens or curls my hair, this is deffinitly a product that I need to repurchase. So I had a look around and I found the Lee Stafford heat protection mist which was on offer for around £4-£5 in Boots.

I then got this Satin Care shave gel with aloe vera. Now this might make some of you cringe but I actually don't normally use a shave gel when doing my legs, I normally just do it with water in the shower or I occasionally use some shower gel or conditioner. But recently I was watching one of Zoella's videos where she was talking about the exact same thing and that you should use a gel to stop your legs getting dry, so I thought I would pick one up. This one was half price in Wilkinsons at £1.35 which is a bargain. The gel turns into more of a foam when you rub it in a bit, and it's such a nice smooth, soft foam and I'm excited to try it out.

After looking in both Boots and Superdrug for a lasting perfection concealer, I remembered that Wilkinsons sold Collection products, so I went to have a look and they only had the darker shades which was annoying. I then had a look at the Essence stand and I came across the 'stay all day 16hr' concealer and thought, at £2.50, I'd give it a go. So far I've found it's not as good as the Collection one, as it is a bit thinner and less coverage, but overall I do really like it for the price.

A few days later I went looking for the Collection lasting concealer again and after trying 3 different shops, where the displays looked a mess, I finally found one lonely one in the right shade! So I had to pick it up while I could.

I then picked up some boring basics. I got the Nivea 3-in-1 cleansing wipes for normal skin, which were half price at £1.30, and the Wilko's oval cotton pads which were 50p for a pack of 50.

And there you have it - part 2 of my beauty haul. I hope you've enjoyed this post, let me know what you've been buying recently! And I'll be back soon with a new post.

Until next time.
